Lee's Ford Marina recognized as top group lodging location

Rating its database of group lodging properties on six important categories — location and services, the group experience, price, sleeping and dining facilities, meeting rooms and event venues —TripInfo.com selected Lee's Ford Resort & Marina in Nancy as one of 42 noteworthy locations across the United States for groups to consider during travel. The list was published in TripInfo.com's fall 2016 magazine.

Established in 1948, Lee's Ford offers fully furnished cottages, cabins or houseboats, with boat and jet ski rentals available at the marina. The resort's floating cabins are popular with guests, as are its two dining experiences — The Oar House Pizza & Pub, and Harbor Restaurant.

"Somerset and Pulaski County are fortunate to have two of the finest marinas in the United States to serve visitors to Lake Cumberland," said Carolyn Mounce, executive director of the Somerset-Pulaski County Convention and Visitors Bureau. "It is wonderful to see Lee's Ford recognized for all of the amenities it offers groups and individuals when they come to stay on our lake. We encourage visitors to stay and explore everything our community has to offer, both on and off the water."
